American Students for Israel, or ASI, is UCSB's pro-Israel group. ASI is an organization for students, faculty and community members who share a belief in Israel's right to exist in peace and security. ASI ensures that Israel receives fair representation on this campus. It was founded in September 2001. Everyone is welcome to get involved.

The organization's aims include promoting unity and joint action among pro-Israel students, arranging and holding informational meetings, promoting dialogue among those interested in Israel and its political issues, educating the UCSB community about Israel and conflict in the region, and acting as a resource for those who seek information.
